It’s been a minute since we’ve posted. We’ve been hesitant as our entire property is currently a construction zone filled with fallen trees, building materials and enough holes in the ground one could confuse it with a WWI battlefield. On top of the flood we lost even more crops to an ill-timed freeze which damaged, stunted or outright killed more than 25% of our stock. And on top of it all our 3-month old son has put a damper on progress. Farming is hard. Farming organically is harder. But everyday we’re up and at it, and the baby (for now) has little choice in the matter. The flood and freeze has created an opportunity to start from scratch. To live, garden and farm with intention. To everyone who has supported us physically and financially we are beyond grateful and so excited to show y’all the end result. “We have not yet begun to fight.”
