Never let the lack of space stop you from getting into gardening. Our tiny walk-way garden is only 5 ft wide and only wraps half-way around our back porch. Theres little space, and even less light. Most our property is made up of native or edible plants but this is a space we chose to use for exotic or ornamentals – all of which we’ve acquired from cuttings. It’s been fun to see it evolve, to be creative and to experiment. Our neighbors home is located very close to our own and this little garden provides privacy, as well as shade and airflow for the porch / chickens all whilst tricking the eye into thinking the space is far larger.
