Found this guy whilst turning our compost. Thought it was an earth worm and rather slowly realized I was holding (what I hope) was a milk snake.
These exquisite flowers smell divine, are edible, excellent pollinators and absolutely gorgeous. With over 60 stalks it’s safe to say we won’t be buying ginger ever again. Can’t wait for the whole row to bloom and turn the food forest into a fragrant paradise!

Afternoon moods. This is our outdoor shower we completed recently. Nothing’s square. Leaves from the over hanging loquat tree keep it messy and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We used an existing fence as the corner whilst the rest of the shower is built from cedar and reclaimed wood. Designed by @mermaidmaggie and built together
